Over that last 20+ years of selling real estate I have adopted a strict philosophy – the client’s needs come first! There have been so many times that I have sat in a client’s kitchen and after thoroughly discussing their homes market value and their family goals that I tell them “The best thing for your family is to stay put for 1 to 2 more years.” This, of course, does not make any money for me, but it is the right decision for the family. By following the “Client First” philosophy, I have been able to chase my client’s best interests instead of chasing the dollar. Amazingly enough – the dollar just comes when you put your client’s needs first! All of the members of the Ask Cathy Marketing Group subscribe to the same values. That is one of the keys to our success.

Each Buyer’s Agent has successfully completed a specialized intensive training program. This program focuses on gathering your wants and needs; then applying our vast knowledge and resources to get you what you want. Our job is only just beginning once we have found you the home of your dreams. Next comes advising you through the inspections, appraisals, loan process, closing and the minor stuff like changing over utilities. We are with you every step of the way. There is rarely a problem that one of us has not solved previously. This is where experience counts. 

Why is it important to have a team with buyer’s agents if you are listing your home with me? The best part of having a team is that no matter what day it is or what time it is – a buyer who wants to see your home can talk to one of us immediately. We know that the key to getting more showings is being available to the potential buyers. We have many programs in place to facilitate this goal.

Although we often become your friend, we know that our obligation to you is one of honesty and straight shooting. So, there will probably be a time when we tell you something you don’t want to hear, but need to know. Being chosen as your life long Realtor is an honor we want to achieve. We also hope to be the Realtor for your parents, kids, friends and co-workers.

Alicia Hodges is the Client Care Specialist for the Ask Cathy Marketing Group. She assists our clients in the “behind the scenes operations of the real estate transaction. Alicia handles the document processing and the preparation of photos, web exposure, visual tours and brochures for our listings as well as supervising the closing coordinator during the closing of the sale or purchase.

 
Alicia earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in 1999. She utilizes this skill set as she writes all of our “Word Pictures” for the listings.  

Alicia and her husband, Mike, currently reside in Lee’s Summit with their two sons. As a life-long resident, she has been witness to Lee’s Summit’s amazing growth. Alicia is also a licensed real estate agent.

Mike is an experienced Realtor in Mo and KS with over 18 years experience in sales.  He has earned over a half dozen sales and volume awards and contests in his 18 years of sales.  Mike and his wife Alicia both work for our team and have lived in the Lee's Summit area for the past 34 years.  
Mike has his Bachelors degree in Communication from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
